LOG antenna has reliable and robust design for optimum performance and long life time. Antenna does not require assembly before the assembly on the mast, because all mechanical parts are already assembled.
1) Antenna carrier: Aluminium tube 14x14 EN AW 3005 (AlMn1Mg0,5) H165
2) Iron parts: hot galvanised steel
3) Fixing to mast: "U" screw M6, without inclination, outside mast diameter D=20...50mm
4) Directors: aluminium rods dia. 4mm
5) Plastics: ABS, UV resistant
Impedance of all LOG antennas is 75 Ohm.
Basic Version:
The coaxial cable must be inserted into the lower antenna carrier Coaxial cable is connected to antenna mechanically by two screws. The antenna is only used for horizontal polarization. Antenna can be mounted on mast in vertical polarization with mounting part D2-V (standard antenna does not contain it).
H/V Version:
The coaxial cable must be inserted into the lower antenna carrier. Coax. cable is connected by “F” male connector on special PCB part. PCB part is pushed into both antenna carriers by force.The antenna allows horizontal and vertical polarization.
Versions with built-in “F” connector
The antenna has a built-in “F” female connector. Coax. cable with “F” male connector must be connected to the antenna and protected by rubber protector (antenna already includes connector and rubber protector). The antenna is only for horizontal polarization .
Antenna can be mounted on mast in vertical polarization with mounting part D2-V (standard antenna does not contain it).
1A) Passive atenna without amplifier and with “F” female connector
Passive antenna without amplifier.
1B) Active antenna with built-in low noise amplifier and with “F” female connector
Active antenna has built-in low-noise amplifier DIGI-LOG 14VU or DIGI-LOG 14U inside of antenna carrier.
The active antenna needs DC12V power supply. If the antenna is not supplied by the power supply it does't work.
Suitable power supply unit is SUR-211.
1C) Active antenna with built-in low noise amplifier with SWITCH system and with “F” female connector
Active antenna has built-in low-noise amplifier DIGI-LOG 15R-U with SWITCH system inside of antenna carrier.
If the antenna is supplied by the power supply it works as active antenna:
- supplied by power supply unit (12-24VDC). Suitable power supply unit is SUR-211.
- supplied by Digital Terrestrial DVB-T Receiver DVB-T (5VDC)
If the antenna is not supplied by the power supply it works as a passive antenna.
2) Version with rotating “F” female connector
This antenna is passive antenna. In this version it is possible to turn "F" connector for 90 degrees very easy.
This version is suitable for using antenna in vertical polarization. Antenna can be mounted on mast in vertical polarization with mounting part D2-V (standard antenna does not contain it).
